The Director General of the World Health Organisation, Dr Tedros Ghebreyesus is visiting the Democratic Republic of Congo to assess the response to the current Ebola outbreak.

Dr Ghebreyesus is travelling with the UN deputy Secretary General, Jean-Pierre Lacroix and other experts from Geneva.

They are set to visit the eastern province of North Kivu where the deadly virus is currently being dealt with. At least 180 people have died of the disease since August this year.
